Shipping Policy
for
Gabriel’s Stitches

Gabriel’s Stitches is a family‑owned, online‑only embroidery business based in Connecticut. All orders are processed and shipped through USPS or UPS. We do not offer in‑person pickup unless a local delivery arrangement is approved before the order is placed.

1. Order Processing Time
All items are custom‑made. Processing times may vary depending on order volume.
•     Standard processing: 3–10 business days
•     High‑volume periods (holidays, sales): processing may take longer
•     Orders begin production only after payment is received
Processing time does not include shipping time.


2. Shipping Methods
We ship exclusively through:
•     USPS
•     UPS
Shipping carrier, speed, and cost are shown at checkout.
A tracking number will be emailed once your order ships.


3. Rush Shipping (Optional Upgrade)
Rush shipping is available for an additional fee.
Rush shipping includes:
•     Priority processing (your order moves ahead of standard orders)
•     Faster carrier shipping depending on the option selected
Rush shipping fees are non‑refundable once production begins.
If you want rush shipping, you must select the option at checkout or contact us before placing your order.


4. Local Delivery (By Approval Only)
Local delivery is available only if agreed upon before the order is placed.
•     Delivery availability depends on location and schedule
•     Delivery fees may apply
•     Delivery times will be arranged directly with the customer
If no agreement is made in advance, the order will be shipped normally.


5. Shipping Times
Shipping times depend on the carrier and your location. Estimated delivery windows:
•     USPS First Class / Ground Advantage: 2–7 business days
•     USPS Priority Mail: 1–4 business days
•     UPS Ground: 1–5 business days
These are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed.


6. Shipping Delays
Gabriel’s Stitches is not responsible for delays caused by:
•     USPS or UPS
•     Weather conditions
•     Holidays
•     Incorrect or incomplete addresses
•     Carrier staffing shortages
Once a package is in the carrier’s possession, delivery speed is out of our control.


7. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address:
•     The customer is responsible for reshipment costs
•     Refunds are not available for custom items


8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
If your package is marked delivered but cannot be located:
•     Check with neighbors, household members, or your local post office
•     USPS/UPS may require a claim to be filed
Gabriel’s Stitches is not responsible for:
•     Packages marked as delivered but not found
•     Packages stolen after delivery
•     Carrier mishandling
If your item arrives damaged, contact us within the timeframe listed in our Refund/Return Policy with photos and your order number.


9. International Shipping
We currently do not offer international shipping.
