Return Policy
for
Gabriel’s Stitches

At Gabriel’s Stitches, every item is custom‑made with care. Because of the personalized nature of our products, we follow the policy below to ensure clarity and fairness for all customers.

1. All Sales Are Final
Most items sold by Gabriel’s Stitches are custom‑made, which means:
•     All sales are final
•     Refunds are not offered for custom items
•     Returns are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect
This policy protects the integrity of custom work and ensures fair production practices.

2. Design Render Approval (Important)
Before production begins, Gabriel’s Stitches will send a digital render/mockup for the customer to review.
The customer is responsible for verifying:
•     Spelling
•     Colors
•     Design placement
•     Size and proportions
•     Any customization details
Production will not begin until the customer approves the render.
Once the render is approved:
•     No changes can be made
•     No refunds or cancellations are allowed
•     Any errors discovered after approval are the customer’s responsibility

3. Digitizing / File Conversion Fees (Logos & Custom Artwork)
For custom logo embroidery or artwork not already in embroidery format, a digitizing fee is required. Digitizing is completed through a third‑party service provider, which adds an additional processing step.
•     Digitizing converts your logo or artwork into a stitch‑ready embroidery file
•     This service has an additional fee, separate from the product price
•     Pricing varies based on design complexity, size, and stitch count
•     Digitizing fees are non‑refundable once the process begins and remain non‑refundable after the file is completed
•     Turnaround times may vary depending on the third‑party provider’s workload
•     Production will not start until the digitized file and the design render/mockup are approved
•     Digitized files created through Gabriel’s Stitches remain part of your order record and may not be released unless otherwise agreed upon
Digitizing is a specialized service and must be completed before any embroidery work can begin.

4. Customer‑Provided Garments (Risk Disclaimer)
If a customer provides their own garment for embroidery:
•     The customer assumes all risk associated with the item
•     Gabriel’s Stitches is not responsible for damage that may occur during embroidery
•     Damage may include: hoop marks, needle breaks, thread tension issues, fabric shifting, or machine‑related defects
•     If the garment is damaged during production, no refund, replacement, or reimbursement will be issued
•     A new garment must be provided by the customer if they wish to continue the order
Customer‑provided items are handled with care, but embroidery always carries risk — especially on delicate or specialty fabrics.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will gladly assist you.
To qualify for a replacement:
•     Contact us within 3 days of delivery
•     Provide your order number
•     Include clear photos of the issue (product + packaging)
Once verified, we will remake or replace the item at no additional cost.

6. What Is Not Considered Damage
Because embroidery is a handcrafted process, the following are not considered defects:
•     Slight variations in stitching
•     Minor color differences due to screen or thread variations
•     Small placement shifts
•     Normal wear and tear after use
These are natural characteristics of custom embroidery.

7. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
We are not responsible for:
•     Packages marked as delivered but not found
•     Packages stolen after delivery
•     Carrier delays (USPS/UPS)
•     Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
Claims for lost or stolen packages must be filed with the carrier.

8. Order Cancellations
Because items begin production quickly:
•     Orders cannot be canceled once production has started
•     Rush orders cannot be canceled at any time
•     If an order is canceled before production begins, a refund may be issued at our discretion

9. Local Delivery Orders
If a local delivery arrangement was approved before the order was placed:
•     Delivery fees are non‑refundable
•     Missed delivery appointments may require rescheduling fees
•     If the customer is unavailable at the agreed time, the order will be shipped instead (shipping fees apply)

10. Customization Errors
If the customer provides incorrect information (name spelling, color choice, size, etc.):
•     Gabriel’s Stitches is not responsible
•     Refunds or remakes will not be issued
•     A new order must be placed
